Video Scavenger Hunt

Saturday, Aug. 5 at 2 p.m.

The scavenger hunt will take place in Old Town San Diego, which is about 1.5 miles from the hotel. Directions from the hotel>>

Because parking in Old Town is "no bueno," we will shuttle groups down to the area and pick them up. Below are the actions to capture on your smart phones (we are leaving much up to your imagination). A map is below to provide you with some orientation of the area, but keep in mind you will be entering off of Taylor street and coming through the State Historic Park first. So you will find the items where you'll capture the actions from that direction. It's Ok to tell people you're doing a video scavenger hunt.

In State Historic Park area:

• Perform a scene in front of the miniature town model in the visitors center as if you were giants
• Engage someone dressed as a pioneer in the plaza and get him or her to say the word 'Mormon'
• Perform a scene in front of a canon
• Perform a scene in or next to a covered wagon
• Anywhere in Old Town: Find a Mormon and ask a probing question

On Twigg Street:

• Sing a Broadway tune in front of Old Town Theater
• Get a trolley driver to sing a song about San Francisco

On San Diego Ave:

• Find a pregnant lady near the Immaculate Conception church
• Find a badge with your name on it in the Sheriff's Museum and speak to someone as if you were an lawman in the Old West (consider buying the badge)
